All the film related organizations formed 'Film Family' in 2016. The convener was Farooq. Shakib Khan was also banned at the time when the film family alleged that the co-produced film was being 'cheated' in the name of releasing it.
On July 15, 2020, Misha Saudagar, then president of the Film Association, and Zayed, general secretary, were banned by 18 organizations. There was a human chain with this. At the time, Masood Parvez Sohail Rana was opposed to the ban. Raj Razzak himself was not excluded from the list of banned film organizations. He was also banned once, said senior director CB Zaman. Later, Salman Shah and Popio were banned.
In order to solve the current crisis of film and the instability that has arisen in this field, the 18 organizations related to film have reunited. Alamgir, a well-known film actor, was made the head of the organizations. However, the decision to boycott Zayed Khan on behalf of 18 organizations was announced on Saturday (March 5) on the pad which has Sohanur Rahman Sohan as its convener. Sohan is also the chairman of the board of directors. All the activities of the 18 organizations are controlled by the Board of Directors.

At one time almost all the offices or study rooms of the 18 organizations were inside the FDC. The offices of several organizations were disbanded during the construction of the digital color lab by demolishing the black and white lab. The rest of the organizations had their offices or study rooms in different rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors. During the Corona epidemic, these two-storey multi-storey buildings were demolished to make way for the rest of the organization.
The Film Editors' Guild is an association of filmmakers. The president of this organization is Abu Musa Debu. He said, “Our study room was on the 4th floor. We have no address in that sense now that it has been demolished. ”
The number of members of the Editors Guild has been reduced from 30 to 32 now with the introduction of digital format movies from 35 mm. Now 4-5 people are actively working.

At one time the organization had members in Daputa but it has come down drastically, said Sunny Alam, secretary general of the organization.
